What air purifier to get

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about my indoor air quality and looking into air purifiers for my home. There are so many options out there, I'm actually literally confused. Any brands or models that really stand out, and what's worth skipping? Also, should I be looking at things like placement, fan speed n all that, do they change performance?

When it comes to air and purifier, don't sweat the brand too much. What really counts is how good the filter is and how much space it covers. Also, where you put it (near where you breathe) and if you can change the fan speed will really make a difference
