Air purifier advice for 950 sq ft home in dusty region?

Finally did the shift and just moved into a small 950 sq ft ranch-style home near the edge of town here in Southern Arizona, where dust storms occur pretty often. I read some reviews and have been thinking about getting the Winix C545 from Costco, but I'm unsure if it can handle the whole space effectively. Would one unit be enough if it runs full-time? For reference I don't have the biggest budget in the world.

The Winix C545 is decent but for a space that size with frequent dust storms, 1 unit might be stretched too thin. You could place it in the most used room and run it constantly but adding a second unit or a larger model with higher CADR might be best. Have you looked into sealing any drafty spots around doors and windows to cut down on how much dust gets inside?

@the last air bender It works best when focused on one main area at a time, if you leave the doors open between rooms and let it run full time, it'll still make a noticeable difference, but it won't catch everything across the whole place evenly,, I'd say start with one and place it wherever you hang out the most like living room or bedroom then later on, if you feel like the other rooms are still collecting dust, you could always add a second unit or grab a cheaper secondary purifier just for the bedroom

For around 950 sq feet, youll likely need about three air purifiers, possibly more if you have multiple rooms. How many floors and what's the layout? Usually, a purifier covers a couple hundred square feet on medium setting, and running it on high can get pretty noisy..
