I bought a Molekule Mini+ for my family but it still smells weird and shows high particles, the filters cost $100 and aren't washable, I am thinking of returning it for a refund. I am looking for any honest reviews or affordable alternatives, especially for mold spores?

Many users including us report the Molekule mini+ doesnt work like it should, it does still leave a bad odor, shows high particle levels, and the filters can't be washed at all. If you're thinking of returning it, you're not alone.
Thanks for confirming, MooseThang. I really hoped it would be better since it's pricey, does anyone have recommendations for something that actually helps with mold spores and smells without breaking the bank? I've heard some people swear by HEPA filters, but not sure which brand or model to trust

Yeah, I'd return it too, that kind of price tag plus non washable filters is a rough combo and what's more for if it's not doing the job, I've been more satisfied HEPA based purifiers like Winix 5500-2 or even the Coway models, they're more reliable and actually bring particle counts down.
