Purifier and humidifier question

So I have allergies and my GP advised to get an air purifier. Will it be best to get the one with the humidifier with it? what have you been using in your homes?

I guess it's okay but the maintenance is quite complex, it's also possible that if one breaks then the other might malfunction too. so I would suggest that you get your air purifier first for your allergies, you can add a humidifier if neded

A good HEPA filter is the way to go because of your allergy and humdifiers are good but they can also cause mold or dust mites when they are not cleaned well and yunno thats not good for your allergies, I run a standalone HEPA purifier in my room and keep a separate humidifier that I clean religiously when neede

here's my advice; start with a dedicated, high quality air purifier.
If you still experience dry air symptoms that exacerbate your allergies, then consider adding a humidifier, either as a separate unit or a combo if you find one that performs well in both functions and fits your budget and maintenance preferences. The key is to manage humidity levels carefully to avoid creating new allergen problems
