using both air purifier and humidifier

My wife and I were just chatting about setting up our bedroom, and we've got a little dilemma. The AC really dries out the air, so I already ordered a humidifier. But now I'm also thinking about grabbing an air purifier for the same room.

So, I've heard that HEPA filters really shouldn't get wet. So, I'm wondering, won't the water vapor from the humidifier mess up the air purifier's filter? wifey said that it's not gonna be a problem.

Has anyone here actually run both an air purifier and humidifier at the same time in the same room? We're curious to know if it works out or if we're missing something

Go ahead, just dont put them beside each other. What brands did you get?

Yep, just keep them a few feet apart so the humidifier's mist doesn't blow directly into the purifier's intake

Isn't it kind of wild that we spend all this money trying to clean and balance indoor air, but there's barely any guidance on how these devices interact? Shouldn't manufacturers address this more directly if it's a common setup?
